Being alone and celebrating it can be a wonderful meditation. I am still in the process of learning and enjoying aloneness. Sometimes I really do, for instance in the morning, when I wake up, make myself the first cup of delicious coffee, take it back to bed, take my iPhone, read messages, answer mails, tuning into my day. At other times I still have to get used to the fact that I am alone. Sometimes Sundays are not so easy. But I take them as a challenge to relax, do or don’t do, just being, It is not an issue of missing friends, because I am lucky to have wonderful friends. It is about choosing to be with myself and in my own company.
